The novaWeb embedded webserver is part of the EY3600 family of systems. Using modern information andcommunication technologies, it enables remote access to the installations integratedin the system. The installation can be monitored and, if needed, controlledfrom any point in the network with the aid of a PC and an internet browser, butalso with simple clients such as PDAs and smart phones. The interface to the automationstations is provided by the novaNet291 router and Sauter's novaNet system bus. Toprotect against unauthorised access, the web server has an integrated and configurablefirewall with four password levels for various access options.
