The VUP seriesprovides a wide range of pressure-relieved through flanged valves ofthe PN25pressure class, with sizes from DN40 to DN150. These regulating valvesareparticularly suitable for the continuous control of cold, warm or hotwater,steam or air, and for use where high pressure differences have to beovercome.The following actuators are suitable for use with these valves: AVP 242,AVP 243and AVP 244. The valve characteristic is equal-percentage or linear. Thevalvebody is made of ductile cast iron, while the seat, spindle and plug aremade ofstainless steel A stuffing box with a spring-loaded Teflon and Vitondiscguarantees the tightness of the seal at the spindle. Closure is againstthepressure, i.e. the valve closes when the spindle is pressed in.
